Color By the Book

Few things are as fundamental as our love of color and our love of books. Inspired by vibrant pieces from our new spring collection, we went to Rizzoli, publisher of some of the most beautiful books we know, and matched them up. Refresh your coffee table with these gorgeous ideas.

Why can’t Chicos transfer these brilliant colors into the clothes you sell? The store if full of drab, colorless items. Does not draw me in. You fill it with the brilliant colors shown with bright reds ( not the same as every red garment), hot pinks, varieties of purples, etc. you will be shocked at the increased business you will have!

I love color and would like to see more. Interesting patterns with vibrant shades in your clothes. Fringe gets boring real quick where as color is striking

Black and white is so chic, and last year in your summer and winter collections you have shown it beautifully. But, please add some vibrant color back in to the stores. Chicos does a great job with the cobalt blue, but what about bright pink, vivid purple, emerald green and more. I know your designers could take the pastels and add brighter colors. The effect would be stunning!

I agree. Last fall I promised myself I wouldn’t buy 1 more animal print. I personally live in the desert and like to mimic the sunsets cause I look good in them. I don’t look good in the boring blues section always on display. I dont have the right skin tone. But add jmbu idea of royal colors the classics and they would sell as fast as your cocoa bean pants! Which I always buy no matter the season.

Agree, the boutiques are a little drab. I recently ran into a former Chico’s associate (retired) and she said the same thing. Nothing grabbed her when she went into Chico’s. Of course, now that I’m retired, I live in Zynergy or Platinum Denim jeans (love the Boyfriend). BUT, my biggest beef is the use of younger models in the catalogs – they don’t represent Chico’s “bread and butter” customers. We need to see some baby-boomer models who might wear a size two so we can better visualize how the clothes may look on our bodies. My latest purchase – the new light washed denim jacket – LOVE!
